dunno why...it's awkward but comfortable too at the same time whenever i'm with them..

today is the last day of the year 2011...
will greet the new day of 2012 tomorrow...

what it's meant for me?
the things that i know...i'm quite moody most of the time and i spend quite some money this year, especially for...oh you know~ >w<)/
appointed to hold big responsibilities, trying new things, experiencing more things, facing and solving the problems, making others worried about me, and...i dunno~ =w=)O too many to list all of them in this post...
we have 365 days and everyday we have something new happen...yea we may be doing some usual works, following schedule, and habits but they not always the same right? everyday is a new day~

about my life a medical students in UKM, as the Twinning Programme of UKM-UNPAD students...
oh dear, clinical-years-life is a lot more challenging now (of course it is...i'm a 4th Year now)...reading and studying a lot more than before, being so hardworking, learning new things, and meeting new people...
"i want to be a doctor that have grade A++ knowledge, not a grade C knowledge..." yup, that's what i always said to myself everytime i want to study and Alhamdulillah, it's helped in motivating me...
being scolded and in disappointment are my way of learning something because i know the mistakes that i have to correct...
yeah...after one and half year in UKM, i think i can fully being comfortable here...
and i'm glad that the in-house UKM students accepting us, the TWP students as part of their big family...at least that what i feel because i dunno all of them, i only know the one that i already associated/working with either for programs, organizations, or study...

(am i being a bit sentimental here?)

being in clinical years also mean that we, TWP07 have lesser time to spend together...
we only have the chance to gather togther during ZT classes on Saturdays for only 4 hours...
but still, we manage to have fun together...

huhuhu~ i really miss the time when i'm in Bandung~
let's have fun together again~ as the TWP07 :3
and let's organized Twinning Family day again~ for our seniors, TWP06 and our juniors TWP08...

this year!!! urghh~ *headache*
this 2011 is teaching me how to HANDLE MY MONEY WITH CARE~
- my hostel fees (it's costing me the whole month allowance per semester)
- the B2ST fan-meeting (uhuhuu...i never dream that i will spend money for concert)

the only guys that dragged me to like K-pop

- i bought the most expensive equipment for my study -> otoscope/opthalmoscope (for the sake of learning)
- replacing my broken, cannot-be-repaired handphone with Mini (thank you to mama and babah that willing to help me with a bit of the prize)
but most of my money gone for food =3=)/

me cannot resist the food~

huhuuu...please be wise my dear self~ i love myself too much~

others?
well...i have the /g/s with me...
being accepted by them is a blessing for me~ (is this too...exaggerate? >///<)O gomen gomen~)
being with them make my colleagues think how fun/amazing they are (coz they are not medical students, oh there's one) and been wondering how i get to now them...
and this year is i managed to meet them in almost of the 'meetings' :3
to /g/s...thank you for making my life, more colourful~ xD

the /g/s...well not all of them in the pic...i hope you guys don't mind i put this i my blog~

there are few things for sure...
i'm still staying single all the year...and i'm happy with it~
i'm still being such a baby to my parents...and will forever be one~
i'm still having fun with my life as a medical students...and struggling to survive too~

yup...
always loving this manga...and the anime too...but i love manga story-line more than anime~
and when the 1st time i heard about this manga to be made as live-action, i am excited about it!!!
especially after seeing the teaser pics and also the trailer...

go~ go~ my busy week already ended peacefully...
i'm grateful that i managed to go through the week without any major problem (there are problems occurred but it's settled already)

a really tension week for me...
i'm very 'emo' and moody last week...so moody till i easily feeling down, sad, and 'touchy'...
feeling guilty and like everyone is blaming me...
oh my~ too many negative aura around me last week =w='''

too many things happened to me these days...
and i'm using Twitter/Facebook to rant...yup, i don't know how to express those rants towards people but feeling comfortable when doing it like that...
i know it's not normal...but that's me...

case write-up to be done....
logbook to be filled...
reflective writing to be done...
events and other organization's duties to be finalized...
it's looked simple while typing/reading it but...oh God, please give me strength to get through this!

Alhamdulillah...
i'm a bit better now...
having HIM make my heart at ease...
hearing my parents' voice make me happy (missing mama & babah too much)
knowing that there are people who worry about my condition is a blessing...
thank you for always being there for me...i am grateful that i am who i am
and sorry for making you guys worry...

all the busy week tiredness gone during Sunday...it was a really happy Sunday
...it's fun spending time with the /g/s...and i can finally laugh-out-loud-hard on that day

accompanying my housemates to Psychiatry Ward really made me miss the time during i posted to the department two to three months ago...
yeah...lots of thing to be read, learned, and understood but i never felt burden by it...coz i love learning all of them...

i do remember the 1st attempt for me to clerk the patients there...
it really need lots of courage to ask them...coz they are sometimes unpredictable...
but once i got the 'rhythm' on how to approach them, the task to clerk and get to know them was easier than before...easier than before knowing anything but not easy ok...

yup...
i miss my supervisor too...and how kind she was towards us, her 'innocent' kids xD
it's really grateful having her as a supervisor throughout the posting...yup...too kind till when you couldn't answer her questions you would feel really guilty, she didn't blame us or even raised her voice...just a simple advice, "read again about the chapter ok...we will discuss it later..."

another thing that i miss...the free time there...ehehee~
free time for yourself and have the time to track back what you already missed/not learned...

those free times are really a precious one...

guess i just have to be confident..don't ever put 'over' in front of it...eventhough it's a little part of it...

oh well...i pass the final semester 1 exam...so i just need to do my best for this semester~

i already shared a bit about my life in Ophthalmology Department posting, the ophthalmoscope, the life in this posting, what to do, and others. currently in the final week of this posting and i'm sure that i'm going to miss this posting...

learning how to view the complex yet beautiful structure inside the eyes, learning how to handle the patients in the clinic (since there are few doctors but the clinic is always full with lots of patients), learning how to grab opportunity...yup, learning medicine is certainly fun...how tired and frustrated i am at the end of the day, i will in the end smile while looking at my log-book and thinking about what i already get during these days of studying medicine...

checklist for the final week of this posting:

case presentation for case write-up --> already done this afternoon & my supervisor already approved it~ :D
case write-up --> in progress, hoping to get it done by Thursday~ =3
log-book --> half-done...another 8 fundoscopy findings to be done by this week~ =w=
reflective writing for PPD --> need to do it front of my supervisor any day of this week..."Dealing With Blindness" :)
miniCX --> a.k.a Mini Clinical Examination...another assessment done by the supervisor, this time our clinical & presentation skills...wish me good luck for this~ >w<)O

choosing 'RHEGMATOGENOUS RETINAL DETACHMENT' as my write-up is certainly a challenging one...the first time ever i've done the ophthalmic evaluation in the patient - the tests, the examination...just hoping that everything going to be fine with this write-up...

ok..i'll take back what was tweeted by me @Twitter last night...i don't hate case write-up at all, i do love this thing so much...eventhough the process of making it makes me cry but in the end, i feel the really great satisfaction once i send it...

it's already passed 1.30 a.m. here and i'm still don't want to sleep...dunno why, these days i have to force myself to sleep (thank GOD that i easily fall asleep after that~ :D ) and easily get tired too...one hypothesis that i can made from this easily tired & so-called-insomnia - "PMS"

hehee...

that's not what i want to share today...just another post about my life here~yup, i already in the 2nd department in this TRIAD POSTING - OPHTHALMOLOGY DEPARTMENT...

like in ENT DEPARTMENT, my schedule in during the day is really full...and unexpected too~and for the 1st time in my medical school, i spend almost half of my daytime at clinic, an hour at the ward, and few more hours in the library...

in this Ophthalmology Department...wow~this posting really testing my ability of observing & my eyes' function too...most of the time i have to use the ophthalmoscope (pic) for fundoscopy examination...and i'm grateful since i'm not using any spectacles~ :D

and the ophthalmoscope...i have to bring with me all the time, not only n the ward but also in the clinic...yup, it's heavy....not to forget my pen-torch & neuro-pins too~without these, i feel like i'm a handicap...since all the items i mention above are important in learning~and during this posting too, i think it's really worth to spend that much of money for the ophthalmoscope + otoscope...

(how much is it? if you wanna know PM, comment, or tweet me...in short, it's expensive)

it's really hard actually to approach the patients in the eye clinic...most of the time, some of them will reject us but there still patients that understand our purpose to look into their eyes...they really understand that we need them to learn something, and we may treating them in the future...i really thank you for that...

still in progress to fill-up the log-book...and i'm still wondering around to find case write-up T^T~it's already Thursday and i need to find it quick since i have to present it on Monday next week before send it to be marked by my supervisor...

but...

i really do love this posting...eventhough most of the time i may seem that i blur/lost in my own world...but i really do want to be 'friended' with Ophthalmology...

the world without vision is hard ok~so love your eyes, love your vision, love yourself...

time to sleep~i need to take care of my eyes & skin too~ =3

after a year, i got the chance to meet you again~ ^///^)O

after more than a month of waiting, the day to meet you finally came~ :D

yeah~1st July 2001!!!

the day that i've waiting with lots of palpitations~

it's B2ST 1st Asia Fan Meeting 2011 in MALAYSIA~

.: YEA~~I WAS THERE B2UTYS :.

it's an honored for the Malaysian B2UTYs since this is B2ST destination for their B2ST 1st Asia Fan Meeting 2011~

ok...

that day was like any other day~but plus dokidoki since morning~

i was so nervous~hoping that something really good going to happen later in the evening...

but...it was tiring day actually - ophthalmology lecture in the morning, clinic till 2.oo p.m. , common lecture till 4.00pm~ =w='''

after the evening lecture, i went back home to take something that i left - pre-order receipt & present for my bias in B2ST - Dong Woon...

and receive call from Alia, asking me to go to the FM with my friends...thank God Faru & Hani didn't go yet~

ok~straight to the point...

i entered the ground pretty late with Alia and her friends, Aqila & Mizah (sorry if i spelled wrongly)...once we sat on our chair --> BOOM - SPECIAL's intro on and B2ST coming out from below the stage...

i was like - "it's starting?!!!" and without delay i joined the crowd to scream too~ ^^)O

B2ST introduction in Malay language...so cute, so adorable but they still need to learn, A LOT...the cutest one was Yo Seob - "Apa khabar? Nama saya Yo Seob..Yo Seob imnida~" *awkward smile* (lol~combination of Malay & Korea) and the almost perfect one was Gi Kwang - "Apa khabar? Nama saya Gi Kwang dari BEAST..." nice Kiki

the MC asked them to say few Malay words and Dong Woon answered "Durian", followed by Yo Seob's "Laksa" and Hyun Seung's "Satay"...at that time i thought "they certainly love to eat~"

"ROMANTIC GUY~" frequently said by Gi Kwang & Dong Woon during Q & A session when one of the question asked B2ST to sing birthday song for his girlfriend...it's sweet though :)

when the MC said something in Malay, Dong Woon was smiling and "yeah yeah yeah" like he understood the MC but when the MC asked "Dong Woon, awak faham ke?", he went "no no no" then "geulae?"

the most hyper member was Dong Woon and the next one was Yo Seob..."Awak ni kan, NAKAL~" and they laughed like little kids...

during play-time...when Jun Hyung picked the lucky B2UTY, Du Jun & Dong Woon were the one who excited calling that lucky B2UTY...Dong Woon said "[i don't remember the name]~come on baby~put your hands-up~", making Alia and me singing "Hands Up" by 2PM :D

and play-time were hilarious~and i did envy the 6 luckiest B2UTYs...the MC said "Yang 2 orang ni macam couple (Yo Seob & his partner), yang lain-lain ni macam tengah dating, chit-chat, chit chat~" and Hyun Seung smiled a lot during this time~

other memorable things:

Dong Woon's fan-service is the best...he 'divided' himself equally to every edge of the stage~frequently saying "come on baby" & "i love you"

Yo Seob another hyperactive guy...his reaction when his partner for play-time-with B2ST holding 'JOKER' banner is totally hilarious & cute~
Jun Hyung was the only one who paying attention when the MC explaining the rules of the game...with a cute, confused face...then "owh~it's like that..."

Hyun Seung was a bit quiet during the FM, lost in his own world...but when he performed, his giving THE BEST especially during BEAUTIFUL, the cute Seungie ON~!!!

then they came out again with wearing FM tees and started to perform the 3 last songs - Oasis, I Like You The Best, V.I.U...

perfect and nice...with such a sweet, memorable end - "I love you~" by Dong Woon & almost-fall-from-stairs Yo Seob...thank God nothing happened to him~

besides that...since Faru and Hani want to stay to send B2ST to Singapore, i decided to join the crowd...2 hours of standing while waiting (my heart cried at that time coz i'm already sleepy...) and all the tiredness gone when i get to see their faces for the last time...and it was REALLY CLOSE~!!!

so cool, so handsome, so fair, so radiant...it's really "MABUSHI~~!!!" [try to pronounce it like Sunako from Perfect Girl Evolution]

Du Jun frequently opened the window's cover and waving to B2UTYs...then Jun Hyung followed him...with such a cute smile...the smile that rarely seen on his lips~ =///=)O

and...i got back to my room at 3.oo a.m~ =w='''

well~the good things are lots more than the bad one...i just put the bad ones here coz over all, i did enjoy this FM~and it's really worth my money to watch this~ [thanks to Alia ^^)v]

throughout the FM...all i did was screaming and screaming and screaming (lol~it's not good for your ear, throat, and eyes too)

and the MC too~i really like him...he truly knows how to handle the naughty yet sweet B2UTYs~

the bad things:

fans can be so scary ok~that will never change my statement eventhough i already have the love for K-pop
the securities for the hotel that they stay...were rude towards the fans
accidentally heard a fan talked bad things about Prince Jang...i dunno whether she meant for bad or just neutral remarks...but as a B2UTY, i hate her statement - "Hyun Seung doesn't have that BANG factor, so that's why he's out from Big Bang..." [to Prince Jang, if you are reading this, please don't be sad ok coz you still have me to love you~

sorry for being such a fussy person...

i would like to congratulate the organizer for organizing this event~it was smooth & no chaos at all...at least from what i observed, B2UTYs behaved sweetly that day~ ^///^)O

the time for the event also suitable...at least they respect the prayers time for Muslim too~

please organize more great events in the future ok~

this week is the final week in ENT posting...

the usual things that have to be done when we in the end of the posting --> completing the log book, finalizing the case that we want to do as case write-up and submit it, assessment by supervisor, doing certain reports that also need to be submitted by this week, 'mastering' the skills for taking history and physical examination of ENT cases...

one thing that happened...it's really sudden and we really didn't expect it to be happened...

don't wanna talk about that incidence...it's too painful...and i already let it out loud through my Twitter...but in Malay though...

hoping that nothing going to happen...

hoping that all going to be alright...

it's already past midnight....and i don't care because i will publish this post~

hehee...19th June 2011 = HAPPY FATHER'S DAY
yup~it's FATHER'S DAY...
again this year...i don't have the chance to wish my dad, face to face...and celebrate it with him...
but i really hope that he knows that i love him so much~

i called him "babah"...

i am his 1st princess and i will always be~

babah is a quiet person...but he do know what to talk when he's with his friends...

he's a really kind man, not only towards his family but also friends...

he's a strict boss...yup, because i know how his employees respect him and afraid when they made mistake...
but he never neglect his responsibilities towards his employees...

he's a thoughtful father...always think about his children and he don't really know how to scold us...but he do know how to advice us till we change ourselves to be a better one~
but beware~once he's so angry, you totally don't wanna mess with him...i also choose to stay away and keep quiet if i sense the 'aura'~

he's a wise man but sometimes he dunno how to show his feeling...only mama knows what he's thinking & his worrying about...
she always said that he sometimes sit quietly at the kitchen, thinking something..and when mama asked, most of the time he will answered - "have the kids called lately?" [this referred to Dila and me since we staying at hostel]

out of blue, he will call me...asking how am i doing right now, am i doing fine, am i having any problem...most importantly - "are you eating well?" [coz he knows that i love to eat~ >///<)O]
and interestingly, our conversation never exceed 30 seconds...
yup~that's from my experience & records~
there's one time when our conversation reached almost 5 minutes - when the first time i fail my oral case presentation exam...
yup...he gave me strength & advice...told me "never see this failure as a burden...except it & fight it...be confident but don't be overly confident coz it will destroy you..."
to tell you the truth, i cried that time and i was waiting to be called to enter the examination room~
but his words really help me...really make me think back the reason why i choose to take medicine...

he's not ready yet to hear his daughters have someone special in their life...
yup~he always reminds us to focus on our study, think about ourselves first before taking care of others...and marriage, "wait until you are really stable in your life..."
i understand him...he only wants us to be happy and love our life first before appreciating someone else~and i really respect that...
"if you want to get marry, finish your study first and make sure you are really stable with your life..." so babah, i can find my future husband first right?
ha ha ha...just kidding...i don't even ready for that~

one think for sure...i'm grateful that i have him as my dad, a really SUPER COOL dad~
please pray for my happiness and i really hope that i'm successful in my life~so that i pay you back, babah...eventhough i know it can never equalize with your sacrifices...

more than 2 weeks i don't do anything for this blog....
my usual excuse - not because i'm busy but i'm too lazy to update something~

it's already come to the end of 2nd week in ENT Department...and tomorrow is the final week in the department...
so many things to be done in 1 week - the case write-up, PBL, log book, assessement & MiniCX...
it's too short...
it's too exhausting...
and too frustrating too...not because of the posting, but because of certain things....

besides i have to wisely manage my schedule, i also have to think about my research papers...2 papers to be worried for this semester...
one - a scientific paper or well known as thesis...still no idea what to do eventhough have to give to the supervisor this week...
tw0 - "E-mail Projek" for a-must-pass-to-graduate-modul, "Pengurusan Masa" a.k.a time management...this is a non-medical things...

and the only day to relax peacefully is SUNDAY....nothing much to be done, just stay in my room all day...but i have to study too...since i cannot survive in the posting without knowledge~

yup...
it become more & more stressful day by day...
and Alhamdulillah i have beautiful friends around me...
and a nice supervisor too~at least that make me feel at ease a bit...

ok...going continue my readings...
done with sharing...feel a little bit ok now~

people always said their job is easy...but for me, i think that no one can imagine how tough their job is...

they spend lots of time to teach their students, knowing the unknowns...

they always trying their best for their students...

they are teachers, our second 'parents' who show us to differentiate the right from wrong, care for us...

that's from my point of view...

i started meeting the person can be called "teacher" as early as 5 years old...learning the pre-school things at the kindergarten...

i still remember the teacher's face, Mrs. Hayati (same name with my mama) and bits of the memories learning in the kindergarten...

THANK YOU TEACHER for lovingly teaching me during this time....

then, primary school...6 years learning at the same school - Sekolah Kebangsaan Bukit Soga

i still remember the motto - "Mendaki Seberapa Tinggi" [reaching for the top]

i still remember a bit of it's song - "Di sini tempat kami bermula, untuk mengenal huruf dan angka"

i still remember most of the teachers...by faces at most...i'm not good in memorizing the name but good in recognizing the faces...

in short, i really appreciate their kindness and all the knowledge that i'd learned from them...

i went to one of the well-known school in Batu Pahat, Temenggong Ibrahim Girls' School or TIGS

i still remember a bit if the song but i fully remember the sweet piano sound accompany us while singing the school song...

frankly speaking...i was just an average student in this school, not stand-out too much and few teachers knew me (the homeroom teachers in each forms and a few others)

eventhough i was an average student, but i was...naughty too...how naughty was that? let it be just a secret for me and the teachers who still remember me~ =///=

and i think i just recognized the faces of my teachers, not all the names (again...)~

more things to be learned...meeting more people...facing more challenges, not only as a student but also as an adolescent, a teenagers...

the teachers that taught me were pretty nice but strict in their own way...may be teaching in all-girls school is like that, i don't know...

done with my school life, i entered the next institution - Johor Matriculation College or known as KMJ for one year, class of 2006/2007

the lecturers that taught me were kind, can be strict, easy to talk to, always there when we need them...sometimes there will be night-classes too, just to make sure that the students fully understands about the subjects...

owh..it's already 4 years i left KMJ and i never meet then since that...but i really wish to meet them again someday...

finishing my college life, i got the application to continue my study in medical course in Twinning Program of Padjadjaran University (UNPAD) & the National University of Malaysia (UKM) for 6 years...

.: with the doctors that taught us while we back at UNPAD :.

i already completed the 3 years in UNPAD and 1 year in UKM...insya-Allah i have another 2 years to go...

the lecturers that teaching me now...i can't call them 'teacher'...i change to 'doctor' and 'professor'...

but still, they are great teachers for me...a great example for me in becoming future doctor...

how busy they are, they will try to allocate time for their 'junior doctors', giving us bed-site teaching almost every week, sharing their skills and experiences...

hope that i can be a great doctor, just like them...

a simple wish of "THANK YOU" is not enough to pay your kindness...

but i will try my best to repay you...

Elective Posting...

like i promised before, i will post about the elective posting that i've done with my friends during the early week of this semester break...

yeah...we still have things to be learn during the holiday...

elective posting...

from what i understand, this is a must do task by the medical student during their semester break, whether in 3rd year (if no repeat posting or just one posting) or in 4th year...

basically, the things that we have to do is choose any humanitarian activity, a non-medical field, make a proposal, then do the activity for 2-4 weeks...

as for us (four of us) chose Turtle Sanctuary in Rantau Abang, Terengganu...

reaching there, we learned the exact name of the place - Turtle Information Center, Rantau Abang, Terengganu...

.: the TIC :.

just a small place but this place really need lots of attention as it's has the importance in giving information to the public about turtle and other marine life...

it consist of gallery, small museum, some turtles and 'tuntung' there.. (sorry i don't know it's name in English...)

the main objective that we want to do the elective posting here is to learn about the turtles & what are the measurements being taken to ensure that this endangered species not extinct...

a bit excited actually because never seen a real turtle before....

and we also been given the chances to follow the officers to check the fishermen's boat & the rangers to do the night patrol at the beach...

we get more than we expected from this elective posting...

since that we all girls that joined the activities that being done majority by men, we being treated pretty...well there...hehehee...

how well??? the fishermen were too worried when we decided to follow the officers checking the boats..."bak pe orang puan naik bot?" [why you ladies want to get on this boat?] and "mabuk dok?" [feeling nauseous?] are the frequent questions being asked while we at the jetty...

as for the rangers, our presence there were like a new friends for them to be chatted while patrolling the beach...

i just use my handphone camera to take the pictures while in Terengganu...

eventhough it's only 3.2 megapixel, but i'm proud with it's performance~

i love mama...

i really love her...so much and i don't know the right word to describe this love...

she never fails to do her jobs as a wife, a mother, and a great friend...

she never pushes her children doing things that we don't wanna do...

she loves us, her 5 darlings dearly...

mama...

during my primary & secondary school years, she was a strict person, easily got angry...

and we were really naughty back then...know that we would get scolding and punishment when doing such things...

and we still know that she loves us dearly...

i'm her first baby, her first daughter, her first sweetheart...

me too, never escaped from her scolding and punishment..named it - lectures, pinching, belt, cane, and so on...

but i know that she's doing that because she care for me and the way she controls me is the way of teaching me to be more sensible and well-mannered...

nowadays...she's a really gentle person, and she know what her children want...

she knows us really well now...and we cannot hide any secret...hard to make 'sisterly secrets'...

my friends once said that i'm a 'clone' of mama and when i looked at the pics of me with mama, i do looked like her...except for my eyes (i got babah's eyes~)

spending time with mama is the BEST moment ever~

this year, once again...we gave her a warm hugs and cake for Mother's Day...

and she's more happy receiving a hand-made 'HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY'card from my 5-year-old little sister that she made at her kindergarten...simple but full with love from that little girl...

i really hope that mama will always be happy...

my 1st post for April~
huhuu...sorry coz i took such a long time to update this blog...publish new post...
being occupied with examination & unstable emotion during these few days...

yup..
finally...after struggling for 3 weeks, the result came out on Monday evening...
and...i PASS this semester postings~that's mean...i'm able to proceed for the next sem...
and can i say this now?
I'M OFFICIALLY A 4TH YEAR MEDICAL STUDENT~

i dunno...i don't believe my eyes at 1st when i read a SMS from my friend, saying that "NOI PASS ALL POSTINGS~!!!"
i was in the bus from Batu Pahat to Kuala Lumpur at that time...i kept thinking about the SMS and still couldn't believe it...
so, when i arrived at KTDI, i decided to look at the result myself...and "KYAAAA~~!!!" i almost wanna scream like that but i just do it in my heart~i just too grateful and kept saying "thank you~thank you~thank you ALLAH!"
one of my wishes came true on that day~

Alhamdulillah~Thank you ALLAH...
i'm really grateful for this, i'm grateful that i pass this year~i managed to survive this 3rd Year~i managed to get through the 1st past of my clinical life~
i'm really grateful coz i pass this exam eventhough most of my time in this semester...i spent it...with playing almost of the time - games, onlining, reading mangas, watching movies, etc.
i'm accepting this as a chance + as a test for me...something for me to realized that i have to change myself and be stronger to go through the postings in 4th year...

4th Year in Medical School...
it's a point that a medical student already mature and able to do more clinical stuffs...
i dunno whether i'm ready for this or not...but i'm sure that i can handle it...
i'm not being overly confident here...but i confident that i, someday can be a GREAT DOCTOR...i still have a long way to go to achieve that but i believe that I CAN DO IT~!!!

happy...still have this happy feeling...
i'm happy for myself, happy for my friends, and i'm happy to hear mama's happy voice when i told her that i can proceed to 4th Year...
thank you mama...thank you babah...never stop praying for my success and always believe in me...
lots of thanks to my professors & doctors for spending their precious time teaching us...
lots of thanks to batch-mates that willing to help and share everything they know...

what makes me smile again...

exam...
done with my 2nd theory exam in the morning...
and i was not feeling really well once i came out from the examination hall...
why? really disappointed with the way i answered the questions...
my Internal Medicine paper on 28th...i guessed that i can do it, way more better than the Medicine and Society paper on 29th...

sadness and disappointment...
a really silly mistake was done...i knew what is it but i don't remember what's the name of it...suddenly i became blank to answer the essay paper...i'm still ok while answering the objective paper but don't know what happened during the subjective paper...
but it's already happened and it's all in the past...now i just have to face the consequences...
well, i think i can take this as a lesson + my new experience~
being too optimistic here...am i???

but...
eventhough it's not great, not even good at all...but i think it's OK and i already try my best for these two theory papers...
now, i have another one week to prepare for the clinical exam a.k.a OSCE...
i hope that the two OSCE are more 'friendly' than these two theory exams...
i really need to pass this two postings in this two semester~~

currently...spending all night in front of this laptop, lurking around, browsing this and that, downloading this and that, stalking my eye-candies, tweeting, play games in Facebook...
pretty lame things being done eh~

don't worry about me...i'm feeling much better now...and i already start smiling and being my usually self in Twitter (that's what i think...dunno what my friends think....)
and no books!!! i planned to not do revision tonight but i'll start again tomorrow~

what i'd done to make me smile again?
started from the afternoon...i was doing lots of thing to make me smile again...

the 1st option - called my mom...
yup, it worked...i can take my nap soundly + in a long time soon after i heard her voice (so long, from 2 to 6pm)
i didn't have the courage to tell her my worries about exam but her voice just made me forgot about it~
yeah~~mama is my queen + mama is the best!!!

then, i started to find some songs to ease my mind...
and as i thought, these two songs make me smile widely...not only by hearing and understanding the lyrics (by reading the translation) but also looking at their face~
but, these two songs really refresh my mind...

EARTH HOUR and study week

in 'hiatus' for almost 2 weeks~
and this is not new for me~~

today is the last day of study week...and i'm still reading and doing some questions to test my knowledge...
the result?i only can make this face
anyway, i will keep on doing my best for my first paper tomorrow~~

last night - EARTH DAY and i participated in it, as well as my housemates~
yup, just switch-off the light for 1 hour and you can make this world much better...
there still people out there who are ignorant about this...i hope that this people will realize soon enough that they have the power to change and make this world a better place to stay~
but...i think most of us who participated in this thing not doing it correctly~hahaaa this includes me too - turned off the light but let the fan & laptop turned on...

it's a peaceful evening for us, in Malaysia on that day...

by the time we reached Times Square, on the way to Cinema...i stopped at this television,joining few people who also standing there to watch the news - "BREAKING NEWS : EARTHQUAKE HITS JAPAN" (or else...but it's a bit like that...)
EH?!! earthquake??? Japan??? we only heard about the news on earthquake in New Zealand about 2 weeks ago...now Japan? what's happening actually???
those are my thought while watching the news...stayed there just a while because my friends rushed to the cinema...

when i get back to my room, i searched all about the news on the earthquake...trying to find the latest one...
"11 March 2011 Sendai Earthquake", "8.9-magnitude" and "tsunami"...that's so bad actually...and i didn't dare to watch any of the clips on the tsunami that hit Japan on that day...just looking at a few pics and this is the pic that caught my attention that night:

movie : "Hikayat Merong Mahawangsa"

Hikayat Merong Mahawangsa...
an ancient Malay literature (that i first heard about it during my school years)...
and now,in 2011..the KRU Studio make this epic story into a movie...and i already eagerly waiting for it since the 1st time i heard about it...

ok~i know~
i'm late too post about it~but i gonna share my point of view about this movie here~~
so i'm going to start from the very beginning~

the first time i heard about "Hikayat Merong Mahawangsa" movie...from newspaper i think, last month...when i read about it - "wow~it's a big budget movie from Malaysia...and it's KRU's...to be screened in 72 countries?"
a week or so after that, i watched the thriller in a cinema (while waiting for the movie...watching Shaolin at that time)..."WHOA~i really have to watch this movie~~~"

i'd waiting for it eagerly actually~hahaa~this is the 1st time ever i acting like this,waiting a Malaysian's movie excitedly...i never act like this before because i'm not a fan of local movie...dunno why,may be i can safely said here...i'm not a cinema person ^^

then...this month~on the last Friday~it's movie time~
yup2~it's great (far more better than typical Malaysian's movie)~and love the actions showed in this movie,the fighting scenes~^^
the acting is a bit...dunno seems odd to me but i like the languages so much~^^
i like the story, the screenplay, the plots (eventhough it's looked like being fast foward), the music~~

overall...personally, i'll give this movie 3.5 stars...
i know, some of the rating give this movie a really low rating...but all about personal view (i think)...but as Malaysian, i'm proud with this movie~
hope that there will be more film like this from Malaysia~

i started my day yesterday with gloomy feeling, home-sick, not too excited about my birthday...
gloomy - "yeah, i will become a year older tomorrow~"
home-sick - "i want mama & babah...to celebrate birthday with me~"
not too excited - hmmm...dunno how express this~

but today...i woke up this morning with wide smile~
thinking about the surprise birthday party that my friends planned for me...i didn't expect this at all - cake & birthday song~
thanks girls~you are the best + the cutest~!!!

the 1st person to wish birthday is mama...i really touched by this...
she never fail to do so each year...
i called her just to hear her voice (yup i'm home-sick)...then after a while - "Happy Birthday~!!!", "may you have a wonderful & success life", "may you stay healthy always"
mama...i really love you...thanks for giving birth to me 23 years ago~thanks for taking care of me all this time >///<

it's already a month...
yup, it's already a month since i'm starting the public heatlh posting in Tanjung Karang...

.: finally~i get to wear this vest :.

dunno how describe this posting...
it's relaxing but at the same time it's busy too...
fieldworks usually end after 2.00 p.m. but lots of assignment to be done in this posting...
family case study, clinical epidemiology, walkthrough study, reproductive health study, and many more...
wearing the smart vest during this posting for survey & fieldwork~ (it's been a month that i wear that white coat...and i miss it so much~)
but i have more time for myself...i managed to watch anime + drama + movie + playing games~
i also managed to do some jogging in the evening (have to rest temporarily due to injured right 2nd toe)
in conclusion...i'm gaining weight in this posting

and...this is the most stressful + busy posting for me...
more stressful than the time i'm in O&G (actually...i'm having fun in that so-called-killer-posting)
i'm not only have to concentrate on the medic courses (my current posting and internal medicine posting) but i'm also have to manage with non-medical course - Hubungan Etnik & Hubungan Masyarakat...
both of these subjects require a really high ability to manage...
i have to do all the case studies in this current posting, the research report for Hubungan Etnik, & the program for Hubungan masyarakat....

frankly speaking...i'm aging fasting because of these things...

because of these too...lately...i started using face mask to preserve my face condition...
and i'm not sure whether this is related or not
hihii...

a month...
that's also meant that it's not much left time until the end semester exam...
a month has passed...so a month left to go before the final examination...
preparation?i'm not so sure but dunno why i have this kind of 'spirit', the believe, the confidence that "I CAN DO IT"
i know...i cannot be overly confident cause i already felt the 'rough' & the effect of this OVER CONFIDENT thingy...
i just hope that...i manage to pass this 2 postings coz i have lots of plans to do during the final semester break...
what is it? just wait & see...i will tell you if i passed these 2 postings...

nice place...nice event...it can be better than this actually~
many great performances on that night but no variation...just people singing, singing, and singing...
the theme is RED & WHITE but there's people wearing dresses/suits/costumes/clothes not according to the theme...it made me felt a little bit disappointed...

Internal Medicine : my feeling after SHORT CASE exam...

SHORT CASE EXAM...
yeah~i'm done with that~and i'm happy with it!!!

it's not like i can do it perfectly but i'm satisfied with my performance...

i dunno whether the examiners were satisfied or not...
but i know that i already done my best & i was perfectly happy + relieved soon after i'd done this exam..
nothing can beat this feeling of 'awesomeness'~

the cases that i get:

Station A - Cardiovascular System examination
Station B - Abdominal Examination

the difficult things in this exam were the ability to find the positive findings & diagnosis based on the findings...
if you dunno what you found -

Alhamdulillah...
i managed to do this short case...eventhough i have certain regrets...
but still, i felt much better than the Long Case~
it feels good~

now...i just have to concentrate on this current posting & the final examination...
i really hope that...once again i can taste the sweetness of passing these two posting in this 2nd semester...

for more than two weeks...i didn't post anything in this blog...
yeah...i'm sorry...'busy' with my life as student...

nope...not that busy...it's just i don't know what to post in this blog...
trying to figure out what kind of story that appropriate to share with you~

for these 2 weeks...i'm being so...shut-in?is that really a word that can describe me?i dunno...but durinh these days...i'm doing lots of reflection about my long case assessment & short case examination...

can i just tell you what happened to my long case?

my long case assessment was on the 7th week of Internal Medicine posting...
and it was the worst thing i ever done...and i still can't get over it...
felt so insulted and...huhuuhh~
i really hate it...

insulted why?that's between me & the patient that i get for the assessment...
i can take it if my skill & my knowledge were not sufficient for the assessment...but what that patient said to me was the worst,an impact to me...
it's ok, you can say all you want when the specialist was there examining me, you can ignore, insult, & hurt my feeling at that time...

but that will never change anything coz i'm determine to go on in this medical school...you are the 1st hard patient that i got to handle...

"owh~you get that patient?she's nice~she has findings when you do physical examination on her~"
hahaaa~sadly guys,i would like to ask you - do you even spend time clerking her?!! or you just come to her to listen to the positive findings that she had on auscultation?!!
i bet you just come to her & ask - "can we check you for a while?"
if there's a medical student came & clerked her, she will not be so "SHOCK"ed with some of my questions...like she never being ask about that before...

dunno whether that just an act or what

you get to see a patient's true self when you clerking them...
their attitude, voice, body language...
yup,i can see that the patient not really really comfortable to be 'used' for exam...
if that patient was willing, he/she will gladly to cooperate + gave some hints to the students
[like in my short case examination~will tell you about this in the next post]

ok...
i cannot turn back time...
i admit that i'm not really prepared for the long case...
but what happened between me & the patient is not something that i expected to happen...
thank God that the patient was cooperative during physical examination, yeah...she had the positive findings that parallel with her disease/condition...

i'm just hoping that...i will pass this assessment...

yeah...
this is the beauty of medicine
you need to know the art to manage the patient + how to handle/manage this kind of situation...

it's already come to the end of 6th week...
that's mean it's almost time for the assessment in this Internal Medical posting --> the observed long case...
sounds 'tempting'???

it's already six weeks...and my supervisors already taught all the common diseases in the wards...
i'm grateful that i got these two great doctors as my supervisors, as my tutors in this posting...both of them are really nice...
an associate professor and a registrar as supervisor...
they searched all the cases for us and taught us to think critically so that we can survive in the assessments in this posting and become a better doctor...
understanding the diseases is the key to solve any mystery in medicine...
that's why medicine is so beautiful

thinking of the long case...i dunno whether i'm ready for it or not...
there still much to learn in this posting...and the time passes so fast this time...i can feel it...
just hoping that i'm not stutter while doing the long case...
not stuttering, not clumsy...or later

by the way...almost everyday my life in medical ward is a meaningful one, a productive one....there's a lot of thing to be done,to be observed, to be learned...
some of the patients are friendly, willingly let the medical student to check them...helping them to learn something about the disease...
and...new experience too...

what kind of experiences???
many...lots and lots of things and knowledge to be experienced...

1st time doing the what they called - "last call"
i don't find the exact definition from the internet, but from what the registrar in charge told us, it's a procedure done to confirm the death...
the components that he asked us to check - heart sound, breath sound, pupils reflex, carotid pulse, respiratory movement...
yup...my 1st time ever checking a dead man...and leaning how to confirm the death...
nice experience though...

and in this posting...i'm using the stethoscope more often, more often being misunderstood as a houseman or doctor, patients called me as 'doctor' instead of 'adik', 'kakak', or 'anak'...
and hearing 'doctor' coming out from their mouth surely give me the spirit + courage to survive in this medical school...

not too forget my parents and siblings...
goodness...i miss them so much~

taking an evening nap to reduce my headache actually...
huhuuu...staying in medical ward making me easy to become sick...i just need to take care of myself me + BE STRONG...
Alhamdulillah it's work after 4 hours of sleep

so...what am i going to do now???
planning to do workshop + do some reading for tomorrow's bedside teaching...
huhuuu~hv 2 teaching tomorrow...in the morning with my professor n in the evening with the registrar...
need to prepare case, need to prepare myself, need to prepare everything....
i have another 2 weeks to prepare myself for the examination - the short case and observe long case...this 2 are the most challenging thing to face in this posting...

and...MY CAMERA'S MEMORY CARD GONE MISSING!!!!
i dunno where the **** it was....i just knew that the last time i saw it was on my desk...then now~i dunno where it is...i already tidy-up my desk but still no sign of that yellow thingy...
huhuuuu~i really need u memory card~
how can i take photos when you not around~
i just need to tidy-up again i think...need to find the memory card before this weekend...planning to hang-out with GFs and there's Comic Fiesta to attend~hahaa
really can't wait for this...

i still hv many things to be done by this week...

after almost a month i'm in 'hiatus' [to be more precise, it's almost 3 weeks] i'm now back into action~hahaaa~
trying to update my craziness in this world~

during these 3 weeks....
hmmm....
not much happened...i just recover from fever...and just 'fully' better this week,no coughing n flu...
yup...i got fever almost 2 weeks,a high grade fever - 38.7 degree Celsius
hahaa~and this the the temperature on the 2nd day and i was able to walk and sweating again...
thank god that i'm well again...i miss 1 week of learning in this posting~and it's hard to go to the ward while you still having flu and cough...you might infect the patients or your conditions will become more worse after that...

now i'm in Internal Medicine posting~
a hard posting for me actually coz need to learn everything about all the diseases in all symptoms and systems...
"You have to learn to be a detective!"
that's what my professor said...we cannot trust everything being said by the patients,we need to 'dig' deeper...
and this week is the 4th week...WOW~the time flew by so fast this time~~

and currently...i'm making my life miserable buy joining program...
can you imagine, 3 programs to be settle in this month and the programs take place staright 3 weeks~
1 program already settle last week...another program to be settle this weekend and another one a week later...
i'm seriously gonna take a break for a while,just joining the program as participant~not as exco huhuhuuu~it's too tiring and depressing~

but~like always...i love this kind of life...
need to be active so i can stay in this college again next year~

the final semester 1 exam already out...

and Alhamdulillah i pass both of the posting~^^

i was too worried with palpitation and tightness of the chest....

i could feel how heavy my steps were....

but...when i finally i got there, "Noi, you are doing fine...you pass both of the posting..." said a friend...

i was like, "can i hug you?"...almost crying...and suddenly all the pain was gone...

then i walked to the board to look at the result by myself...

Alhamdulillah~i'm really happy with this result...

i'm grateful that i managed to pass the 2 posting - Obstetrics & Gynecology and Surgery posting...thank you to friends that helping be to understand the subjects during these two posting...i'm grateful too i have friends like you guys~^^

i'm happy but at the same time i'm sad also...i'm sad for my unfortunate friends...seeing them sad and crying making me wanna cry too...

comforting and hugging it's not enough i think but at least, i hope that they felt much better....

just be patience friends...

just try harder for this semester...

insya-Allah we all can pass with flying colors and all eligible to be promoted to 4th year...

this result means i have to work harder for this semester...

i need to be more serious in my study...

i need to be more clear what i'm going to be after this, always reminding myself, "YOU GOING TO BE AND WILL BE A DOCTOR!"

that the 'magic words' that i need to recite again and again...as a motivation for me...

and insya-Allah i will achieve my dream...

the final 2 papers for my clinical exam - OSCE for O&G and Surgery~

so...Prof.~one of your student already have the 6th sense = NONSENSE >.<|||

but overall~i'm quite satisfied with my performance in OSCE O&G...

the doctors were really nice~they are so nice, too kind, and even willing to help me + giving hints when i didn't know the answers...

but...

it's hurt the most when they tried to help but i didn't know to answer what~~~

hari yang ditunggu-tunggu bakal tiba...
esok adalah hari yang sangat bermakna~
setelah seminggu dok baca buku + buat latih tubi....tibalah masa nak test apa yang dah belajar selama 1 sem ni...

hahahaa...
skemanya ayat kat atas tu~
senang cerita la...saya bertawakal untuk exam esok...
start dengan paper Surgery dan Noi masih lagi pegang notes Surgery ni....

kenapa update juga blog time2 kritikal ni?
kenapa?why?!!nande?!!!
sebab...saya nak release stress dan kurangkan rasa "doki-doki" ni~

dah satu sem belajar kt UKM ni~
dah satu sem pakai white coat pergi wad + stetoskop dlm poket~
dah satu sem jadi penghuni KTDI~
dah satu sem duduk kat bilik yg comel molek ni~

ni kes dah bosan la semalam...
tiba-tiba ternampak kamera comey ku kat dalam kotak atas meja tu, terus je on dan snap2~
hatiku puas lepas main snap2 ni~

nak tayang la bilik sat~
hehee...dah satu sem menghuni bilik ni...dah sampai masa kot nk tunjuk sikit2 je~

tadaaa~

buka je pintu...macam ni la rupa bilik Noi...well~~at least time kemas la...
hari biase...'cantik' skit kot~hehee....

rak buku + almari yang ada dekat sebelah katil....

buku-buku ni jarang la dirujuk kalau nak dibandingkan dengan time kat UNPAD dulu...buku yang banyak diguna untuk rujukan Noi letak kat meja study...

katil tempat ku tidur bersambung dengan meja study...

yeah~
just finished reading another BIG chapter in Surgery topics...
hahahaa~feel so satisfied for this moment...yup..only THIS MOMENT~
still have lots of things to be worried about...

currently...thinking what to do next...just continue to read the next BIG chapter, try to review the past years questions, or just stop for this time and get some sleep....
it's really hard to decide which to do...
since...i'm afraid that i cannot sleep if i stop now...huhuhuu

it's so...quiet...
haaa~this hostel is always quiet...yeah...medical students spend most of their time quietly in their rooms...what are they doing?may be studying, or discussing, or playing some games...who knows~
but..i'm proudly announce here...i love making noise~

but...it's really quiet though...
the only sound heard was the songs coming out from the laptop's media player (currently - Tatoo by Jordins Sparks) and the fan....

these what i'd flipped and read the whole day~

the more i read...the more i realize how small my clinical knowledge...i realize that i need to know more than this~
the whole day...until just now - tried to cover Surgery topics...
O&G topics?already reviewed part of the topics the day before...will reviewed them again later...

another day before the big day...
i will just try my best...

masa terbaca tajuk ni kt FB BHarian...hati terus terdetik..."Siapa pula student Bandung ni?"

macam tak percaya benda macam ni akan berlaku...lebih-lebih lagi terdapat kenalan di sana....

terus klik kat link tu dan tunggu (time ni la internet nak slow semua...aish~)

sebaik sahaja page tu dibuka...mata tertumpu pada nama pelajar tersebut..."Macam kenal...."

lepas tu terus teringat...beliau adalah salah seorang senior 5th Year kat sana...

diri ini hanya mengenali beliau secara biasa sahaja...tiada hubungan rapat atau apa-apa...kalau terjumpa, cuma "Hai~" atau senyum sahaja...

namun yang pasti...kehilangan beliau pasti dirasai, lebih-lebih lagi oleh kenalan rapat dan keluarga...

Noi tak tahu beliau macam mana orangnya...yang Noi pasti, beliau seorang yang peramah...

my progress?since in the morning, the same topic - CONTRACEPTIVE

aish~not going anywhere...still understanding all the methods + the Pearl Index....

i dedicated today for O&G topics...hope that i manage to cover a few topics from Gynecology and few related problem in pregnancy...

spending my weekends with my family~

yea~love those few days~

hahaa~can't wait to finish this examination~wanna meet them again~

love to share something...a heart-and-emotion-related things...it's been a long time i share something like that...

also,my personal thought about my life, manga, anime, J-dorama, artists, and people around me...

long case assessment not done yet....

the end-semester exam in less than 2 weeks....

and I'm still think that I'm not ready to face this challenges....

i've read lots and lots of diseases and...still think they are not enough....

i'm not scare...i'm just worry....there's nothing to be scare...i just hope that i manage to pass this semester exam happily~^^

trying to comfort myself....

i've been busy with extracurricular activities....been busy online everyday too~

there will be more programs to be held in the next 2 months,before this year of 2010 end....

haish~hope that i manage to collect enough merit points,so that i can stay in this college again next year~

lately...

i always spacing-out...blank-minded....staring outside the window to clear-up my head...

it's so nice when you manage to clear everything out with just staring at the bright blue sky & cute clouds...

even nicer when the bed is just next to the window...so you can enjoy the view with just lying down~hehehee

but to tell you the truth...i like reading the facts & history of Islam Civilization~unique~~^^

just to ease my feeling a little bit buy posting something to this blog~^^

for the 1st time...i've use the Google Book deligently~

hehehee....

why?

dun hv much time to spend my day in the library to find the info about the topic on Islam Civilization and write the report on it...

a few books that i tried to read & summarize them....

extracting the information to be placed in the report....

and staring the laptop screen for a long time is not a really good idea...heheee~

what's happening to me~?!!!

these whole week...i had difficulty in falling asleep....

ok...it's fair enough since i already take a nap in the evening but last 2 days, i woke up at 7 a.m, spend whole day in the wad, not taking any nap...still not feeling sleepy eventhough it's already pass 1 a.m...

it's happening again now...at look~it's almost 4 but i'm still wide awake here~

factors?!!

hmm...to many of works to be done - mostly posters, reports, and study (case write-up!!!)...

the busiest week since i'm entering Surgical posting - morning in the wad/clinic, clerking cases, night do some revision or finishing the taks or meetings until 11 pm~

aaaaa....late night meal...hahahaa~'fuel' to stay-up, right?

but...

it's fun...coz...i really missed the busy moments while i'm in Bandung, trying to cope with study & tasks as Head of Bureau & Editor...

it's weird right...you feel satisfied when you have lots of works...and you want more to come!

another thing making me hard to fall asleep...i think i'm too worry about my end-semester exam (in 4 weeks time~)

i'm not scare...i'm just worry about it (important! "worry" and "scare" are 2 different things OK~)

just hoping that i manage to pass this examination...
